Based upon the original MT580 trail running sneaker, 686 and New Balance design labs updated the newly improved model with better fit, increased stability with superior flex, lower profile and overall lighter weight. Also included are NB's proprietary Rollbar® and Abzorb® technology combined with "Quick-Strike" velcro strap, the patented SCL® zonal speedlacing, and an improved dual density EVA liner retained in position by a new harness inside the shell.
